You may not know but the Michelin Guide recently visited Miami and is making waves. Recently they announced that eight new restaurants are being added to the Florida Michelin Guide. They are new places residents should check out.
To be considered a Michelin restaurant, a restaurant must earn its spot on the list. This s a tall order. in 2022, 65 Miami restaurants earned a spot in the Michelin guide, and 10 received a 1 star. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon was the only restaurant to receive two stars
When a Michelin star inspector comes to a restaurant, it is done incognito. They are there to make sure all the restaurants currently on the list are still meeting the established requirements and to judge specifically the food and drink they receive.
