On September 13, 2025, something truly special is happening at The Smith Farm in Boulder County: an evening dedicated to raising hope, driving change, and supporting the fight against ALS.

We are excited to invite you to this unforgettable private benefit concert featuring John Driskell Hopkins of the Zac Brown Band and his talented friends.

It’s more than just a concert; it’s a chance to make a tangible difference for thousands of people and families affected by ALS.

Music, Food, and Community for a Cause

This event isn’t just about raising money. It’s about coming together as a community to bring hope where it’s needed, like true neighbors do. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Live Music: Enjoy an intimate performance by John Driskell Hopkins and friends. Hop, as he’s affectionately known, is a founding member of the GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band and an inspiring advocate for ALS research.
  • Delicious BBQ: Feast on mouthwatering BBQ from Wayne’s Bar-B-Q, one of the Boulder area’s best-loved pitmasters.
  • Craft Beer: Sip on local brews from some of Boulder County’s finest breweries.

Don’t forget you’ll be surrounded by a picturesque setting all night. The white barn and open grounds of The Smith Farm provide the perfect backdrop for a magical night under the Colorado sky.

Why We Gather: Supporting ALS Research

As Hop says, “Today is the only day that we are given. Life is a festival you should be living.”

This event benefits Hop On A Cure Foundation, which is a non-profit founded by John Driskell Hopkins and his wife, Jennifer, after Hop’s own ALS diagnosis in December 2021. ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease) is a devastating neurological condition that currently has no cure, but we believe we can come together to support the discovery of one. Hop and Jennifer launched the foundation in 2022 to fund cutting-edge research and give hope to families facing this diagnosis.

Last year, thanks to our incredible community, we raised over $60,000. This year, we’re aiming even higher and we’d love your support.

How You Can Be Part of the Goal
